VBS-SMC Workshops and Curriculum Presentations

Many workshops have been planned that will help you learn how to run a VBS, recruit workers, become a better teacher, and teach the Gospel to children in a way they can understand.

You may attend two one-hour workshops and/or curriculum presentations in the morning, and two in the afternoon.

Me, the Director? Betty Dymond A “how to” workshop that gives you step by step guidance in preparing your program.
Puppet Making Made Easy [Part 1] Murray Howell & Hazel Howell Four unique sessions–actually make a puppet! All materials are furnished. No machine sewing. In the last session, you will learn how to use your new puppet. (Additional $25 registration required to cover furnished materials; bring a pair of scissors.)
Surf’n God’s Word: In Search of Truth Monica Mackler & Jerri Coleman A VBS curriculum presentation.
Teaching God’s Word to the “Lost and Found” Marilyn McMichael Reaching the unsaved child for Christ is one of the goals of your Vacation Bible School Summer Ministry Program. This brings you to another goal of challenging the Christian child to grow in Christ. In this workshop, help is given for you to attain both goals.
