Dr. Rex M. Rogers
Dr. Rex M. Rogers, president of Cornerstone University since 1991, is responsible for Cornerstone University’s three-part enterprise: the undergraduate college, the graduate program and a Christian radio division known as “Cornerstone University Radio,” involving three radio stations, an internationally syndicated program called “Mission Network News,” and a nationally distributed children’s radio ministry called “His Kids Radio.”
Dr. Rogers is the writer and speaker for “Making a Difference,” a daily radio feature on the university’s radio stations (WCSG, WAYK, WAYG). His program applies biblical principles to a wide range of contemporary issues and concerns, such as family and church challenges, biomedical ethics questions, business and economics, philosophy and culture, music and the arts, same sex marriage, education, and more. “Making a Difference” offers brief, practical, and straightforward Christian commentary for immediate everyday use. “Making a Difference” is also syndicated weekly to more than 90 newspapers in over 31 states.
Dr. Rogers has written two books: Gambling: Don’t Bet On It, and Christian Liberty: Living for God in a Changing Culture. He became a spokesman for the anti-gambling movement and was heard regularly on radio and television programs nationally, including Focus on the Family, CBN, Janet Parshal’s “America”, “Money Matters” and MSNBC.
Dr. Rogers holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Cincinnati, an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Akron, and a B.A. in Social Science from Cedarville University.
Dr. and Mrs. Rogers’ (Sarah) family is comprised of a daughter, Elizabeth with her husband, Joe, and their three small children, Brodie, Luke, and Jordan, and three sons, Eric, Andrew and his wife Kristen, and Adam. Sgt. Adam Rogers is an MP with the Army Reserve serving in Iraq.

Dr. Duane Cuthbertson
Dr. Duane Cuthbertson is the founder of Growing Together Ministries which provides renewal and restoration for hurting individuals, marriages and families.
Growing Together Ministries began in 1970. Dr. Duane Cuthbertson had been working with Personality Dynamics (a Christian Counseling center) in Ann Arbor, MI. He observed a woman "turned away" for counseling because she lacked hospitalization. Dr. Cuthbertson offered to counsel her and her husband "free" at a local church and the counseling portion of Growing Together Ministries was born. Since then, Duane has counseled hundreds of individuals and couples for no charge.
Dr. Cuthbertson has authored two books, The Marriage Manual and Raising Your Child Not Your Voice. The latter has been translated into four languages.
Dr. Cuthbertson earned his Doctor of Ministry at Western Conservative Baptist Seminary, his M.Ed from Massachusetts State College, his M.Div from Gordon Cromwell Theological Seminary and his A.B. degree from Taylor University where he was the student body president and graduated with honors.
Duane has headed the psychology departments at Bryan and William Tyndale Colleges and has also founded the World Bible Quiz Association, Huron Valley Youth for Christ and WYFC Radio.
Dr. Cuthbertson taught at Eastern Tennessee and Bushy Mountain prison as well as leading devotionals for the Detroit Tigers, the Detroit Lions, and the University of Michigan football teams. At present, Duane is teaching adjunct at Spring Arbor University while continuing his outreach through Growing Together Ministries.
Most significant to Duane is that he has been married for 48 years. He and his wife, Marilyn, have five children and 17 grandchildren.
